Account setup and email verification
Create a MoneyVue account, verify your email, and sign in for the first time.
Sign up
- Go to the registration page at
/register. - Enter your email address and a password (at least 8 characters).
- Confirm the password.
- Click Create Account.
You're signed in automatically and routed to onboarding so you can connect a bank.
Verify your email
After registering, MoneyVue sends a verification link to the address you signed up with. The verification step is required before you can delete your account or export your data, but you can use the rest of the app immediately.
To verify:
- Open the verification email and click the link.
- The verification page confirms the address is now active.
- Sign in normally.
If the link expires or never arrives, request a new one from your profile or contact support. See Login issues.
Sign in
Use the email and password you registered with at /login. If you have a passkey set up, you can sign in with Face ID, Touch ID, or a hardware key instead — see Security and passkeys.
FAQ
Why does my password need to be 8 characters? Eight characters is the minimum the server enforces. Longer passwords are stronger — a passphrase of three or four random words is a good baseline.
Can I change my email address later? Email is the account's identifier and is not editable from the profile page. Contact support if you need it changed.
Do I have to verify my email to keep using MoneyVue? You can use most of the product without verification. Account deletion and data export require it for safety.
