Connecting your bank accounts

MoneyVue uses SimpleFIN Bridge to sync transactions from your banks. SimpleFIN is read-only: it can see balances and transactions but never moves money.

Setup

1. Go to Settings → Connections.
2. Click Connect via SimpleFIN.
3. Sign in to SimpleFIN Bridge and authorize the institutions you want.
4. Paste the access URL back into MoneyVue.
5. Click Sync in the header to pull your first batch of transactions.

Troubleshooting

If a sync fails, check the toast message — most failures are due to expired bank login credentials. Re-authenticate at SimpleFIN Bridge and try again.
