Using MoneyVue on mobile

MoneyVue runs in your phone's browser today. Native iOS and Android apps are in active development.

On the web

MoneyVue is a responsive web app — open moneyvue.app on your phone's browser and sign in. The dashboard, transactions, budgets, and recurring views all adapt to a smaller screen. You can save the page to your home screen for one-tap access.

To save to home screen:

  • iOS Safari — tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
  • Android Chrome — tap the menu, then Add to Home screen.

Native apps

Native iOS (SwiftUI) and Android (Compose) apps are coming. They will sign in to the same MoneyVue account, sync the same data, and add features that benefit from native hardware:

  • Face ID / Touch ID for sign-in
  • Push notifications for sync issues and recurring-charge reminders
  • Faster local search

FAQ

Will my data sync between web and mobile? Yes. Both surfaces talk to the same backend. Anything you change on one shows up on the other after the next sync.

Can I add transactions from my phone? Yes — the manual-entry form on the Transactions page works on mobile.

Are the apps open source? No. MoneyVue is a hosted SaaS product. The mobile apps will ship through the App Store and Play Store only.
